TEMPE, Ariz. -- Insight Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSIT) (the "Company") today reported results of operations for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2010.
Fourth Quarter Highlights For the fourth quarter of 2010 compared to the fourth quarter of 2009:* Net sales increased 14% to $1.3 billion.* Gross profit increased 11% to $172.6 million.* Earnings from operations increased 38% to $37.3 million, or 2.8% of net sales.* Net earnings from continuing operations increased 43% to $25.0 million.* Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations increased 43% to $0.53.* Results for the fourth quarter 2010 include a tax benefit of $1.6 million related to the recapitalization of one of the Company's foreign subsidiaries.
