NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2002 Broadband Business On Track To Achieve Profitability In December Quarter Conexant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CNXT) today announced revenues from continuing operations of $157.9 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2002, which ended Sept. 27, 2002. Revenues increased 3 percent from third fiscal quarter 2002 revenues of $154 million. Revenues from continuing operations for fiscal year 2002 were $601.8 million, compared with fiscal 2001 revenues of $847.1 million. Financial results for continuing operations exclude the performance of Conexant's wireless communications business, which was spun off to Conexant shareowners in June 2002 and merged with Alpha Industries Inc. to form Skyworks Solutions Inc.
