MIDDLEBURY, Conn. -- Chemtura Corporation, debtor-in-possession, (Pink Sheets: CEMJQ) (the "Company" or "Chemtura") reported today that it has filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the second quarter. This release summarizes the financial results for the second quarter of 2009 and investors are encouraged to review the Form 10-Q for more details of the performance for the quarter. The Company recorded a net loss of $118 million, or $0.49 per share, for the second quarter of 2009 and a net loss on a managed basis of $6 million, or $0.02 per share, for the second quarter of 2009.
