IRVINE, Calif. -- California First National Bancorp (NASDAQ: CFNB) ("CalFirst Bancorp") today announced net earnings of $2.4 million for the second quarter ended December 31, 2005, a 16% increase from net earnings of $2.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2005. Diluted earnings per share for the second quarter increased 15% to $0.21 per share, compared to $0.18 per share for the second quarter of the prior year.
