MEDFORD, Mass. -- Century Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNBKA) (www.century-bank.com) ("the Company") today announced record net income of $13,574,000 for the year ended December 31, 2010, or $2.45 per share diluted, an increase of 33.6% compared to net income of $10,160,000, or $1.84 per share diluted, for 2009. Total assets increased 8.3% from $2.3 billion at December 31, 2009 to $2.4 billion at December 31, 2010.
