Centex reports record first quarter results.
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 1996--Centex Corporation today announced earnings per share of $.75 for the quarter ended June 30, 1996, the highest earnings per share for any quarter in the company's history and 178 percent above $.27 per share for the same quarter last year.
