Lawson announced second quarter 2003 earnings of $4.4 million, or $.52 per share, as compared to $4.5 million, or $.52 per share, earned in the same prior year period. As recently announced, the Company's 2003 second quarter earnings benefited from the settlement of the REIT tax issue with the Massachusetts DOR.
