William Austin named new chief financial officer BMC Software (NASDAQ:BMCS) Thursday reported financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 1997, ended Dec. 31, 1996, that included strong mainframe license revenue growth and a doubling of open system revenues over the prior quarter. In addition, the company announced that William Austin has been named as the Chief Financial Officer for BMC Software.
