FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- According to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Server Tracker, factory revenue in the worldwide server market grew 3.5% year over year to $12.9 billion in the third quarter of 2006, the fastest growth rate in four quarters and the largest third quarter spending on servers since the third quarter of 2000.
