Highlights of Q3 2008 Compared with Q3 2007

* Sensor revenue increased 9% to $21.0 million

* Worldwide installed base of BIS monitors and modules increased 18% to more than 53,600 units

* GAAP operating loss was $2.1 million in Q3 2008 compared with an operating loss of $46,000 in Q3 2007

* Non-GAAP operating loss was $0.2 million in Q3 2008 compared with operating income of $2.1 million in Q3 2007

* Other income includes a $5.9 million gain from the Company's repurchase of its convertible notes

* GAAP net income was $1.0 million, or $0.06 per diluted share in Q3 2008, compared with a net loss of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per share in Q3 2007

* Non-GAAP net income (which is exclusive of stock-based compensation) was $2.3 million in Q3 2008, or $0.12 per diluted share, compared with $1.6 million, or $0.09 per diluted share in Q3 2007
