CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2003 AptarGroup, Inc. (NYSE:ATR) today reported record third quarter results. The Company also announced the acquisition of technology for dry powder inhalation and a charge of approximately $1.3 million (before taxes) relating to the acquisition. Third Quarter Results For the quarter ended September 30, 2003, sales increased 17 percent to $281.3 million from $239.8 million in the prior year. Approximately $12 million of the increase in sales relates to custom tooling sales.
