SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane-based AmericanWest Bancorporation (NASDAQ:AWBC) and Utah-based Far West Bancorporation announced today the signing of a definitive agreement under which Far West Bancorporation, and its principal operating subsidiary Far West Bank, will be merged with and into AmericanWest Bancorporation.
