BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAII), a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services, today announced its operating results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2008. Operating results from continuing operations showed improvement for both the quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2008 when compared to the same periods in 2007, despite the decreases in revenue. Losses from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2008 were $1.1 million compared to losses from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2007 of $10.9 million. Revenue from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2008 was $6.8 million versus revenue from continuing operations of $13.9 million in the third quarter of 2007.
