BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 2002 Airspan Networks Inc. (Nasdaq:AIRN) today announced financial results for the fiscal second quarter ended June 30, 2002. Revenue for the quarter totalled $2.6 million versus $8.6 million recorded in the second quarter of 2001. Gross profit, excluding the inventory provision taken in the quarter, was $0.5 million or 18.3 percent, versus $2.9 million, or 34.1 percent of revenue in the corresponding prior year quarter.
