RADNOR, Pa. -- Airgas, Inc. (NYSE:ARG), the largest U.S. distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and welding, safety, and related products, today reported strong growth in sales, operating income, and earnings for its second quarter ended September 30, 2007.
Quarterly net earnings increased 28% to $51 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, compared to $40 million, or $0.49 per diluted share, in the prior year.
