HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 1996--Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced second quarter operating earnings(a) from continuing operations and before unusual items of $166.2 million, or $1.43 per share, compared with $111.7 million, or $0.99 per share, in the second quarter of 1995.
