SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 2003 ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM) today reported net income for the quarter ended July 31, 2003 of $11.7 million ($0.23 per diluted share) compared to $12.6 million ($0.25 per diluted share) reported for the third quarter of fiscal 2002. As a result of the previously announced sale of the assets of Amtech Elevator Services to Otis Elevator on August 15, 2003, results from the Elevator segment have been reclassified as income from discontinued operations. Revenues from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2003 were $569.1 million, up 9% from $520.0 million in the third quarter of 2002.
